MacKenzie-Childs newest addition to kitchen decor is their Pressed Flowers Butcher’s Block. Beautifully detailed and yet fully functional. A perfect addition to a gourmet kitchen or even a cozy cottage kitchenette. Glass panes and table aprons are superbly detailed with soft florals, inspired by antique traditional patterns from Stoke-on-Trent in England. Charming scalloped edges on the aprons are reminiscent of the eaves of a hotel in nearby King Ferry. And last but not least, it is of course, hand-painted with Courtly Check accents. The two contrasting hardwoods create a checkerboard top that is designed to be used and to age gracefully as it is enjoyed. This stunning functional work of art is 30″ wide by 36″ tall. The materials are Mahogany and tempered glass. Block surface made from tropical hardwoods Sungkai and Sonokeling, and coated in food-safe mineral oil. Towel rack is a brass rod with ceramic components.
